About AWSodle
- What is AWSodle?
- AWSodle is a free daily AWS puzzle: a guessing game for Amazon Web Services in the style of Wordle, where you identify a service from a set of clues and get feedback after each guess. It is a quick way to learn the AWS service catalog and test how well you know the cloud.
- How do you play AWSodle?
- Pick a mode and start guessing AWS services. Classic compares your guess to the answer on what the service is (category, launch year, scope, pricing, whether it deploys into your VPC) and on clues from its name (whether the name is an acronym, how many letters it has, and its last letter), with optional hints that unlock as you miss. Use case gives you a real-world scenario to solve, Emoji shows a rebus to decode, and Logo reveals a blurred AWS architecture icon that sharpens with each miss.
- Is AWSodle free, and do I need an account?
- Yes, AWSodle is completely free and there is no sign-up. Everything runs in your browser, and your daily progress, streaks, and stats are saved locally on your device. No data is sent to a server.
- How often are there new AWSodle puzzles?
- A new daily puzzle drops for every mode each day, and it is the same puzzle for all players. If you want to keep playing, switch to Endless mode for unlimited random puzzles with a streak counter.
